Two days at the Nice Wedding Fair
The fair took place on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November 2024, from 10 am to 7 pm, at the Palais des Expositions in Nice. Bridal fashion shows, a vintage car covered in flowers, giant illuminated “LOVE” letters: everything you expect from a wedding fair. And in the middle of it all, our little stand.
We went with one simple idea: let couples try it. You can spend ten minutes explaining an audio guestbook. Picking up the receiver once is enough to get it.
1. The phones, lined up on the pink table
We brought the whole collection: rotary phones in yellow, red, blue, pink, white, black and cream, and the antique gold models for those who like a more vintage look. At the end of the table, our vinyl records with the couple’s photo on the sleeve. And on the floor, the black case the phone travels in to reach you.

2. The phone you could try
In a corner of the stand, a phone was waiting, set up exactly as it will be on your wedding day, with its little “Livre d’or audio” frame next to it. Pick up, listen to the welcome message, speak after the beep, hang up.
That’s it. No app, no QR code, no instructions to read: even grandparents manage on their own.
You record the welcome message yourselves. If you don’t know what to say, we wrote an article about it: create the perfect message.
3. Listen instead
The screen on our stand said: “What if, instead of reading your guestbook, you listened to it?”. That is the whole idea. Here is a message left on one of our phones:
Guest
A real message, exactly as you will receive it.
You read a written word. You recognise a voice, even years later.
4. And after the party?
The phone goes back in its case to a pickup point: everything is explained in our article about the parcel. On our side, Cédric cleans and remasters every message before sending it to you. We show you the difference in this article, with a before and after to listen to.
If you want to keep your messages somewhere other than a folder on your computer, there is also the personalised USB stick and the vinyl record.
Our tip if you visit a wedding fair
Don’t just leave with brochures. Try the entertainment, ask your questions, ask to see the equipment up close. Five minutes on a stand often teach you more than an evening comparing websites.
Thank you, Nice!
Thank you to everyone who stopped to pick up the receiver, and to the fair’s team for the organisation. Getting married on the French Riviera? Our phones travel anywhere in mainland France, Corsica and Monaco to a Chronopost pickup point: see if your date is free.
